What To Expect From Your Treatment

During your initial consultation with an osteopath, you will have the chance to discuss your health concerns and medical history with a trained professional. This in-depth conversation is essential to ensure that the osteopathic treatment is suitable for you and that the therapist can tailor their approach to your specific needs. For this reason, it’s important to be honest and open during the consultation, providing as much information as possible.

In addition to the history taking, your osteopath may also perform a physical examination to assess your body’s mobility, alignment, and balance. This examination may include observing your posture, range of motion, and muscle tone, as well as palpating your body to identify areas of tension or discomfort.

After completing the consultation and examination, your osteopath will discuss their findings with you and develop a plan of care that outlines the recommended treatment and approach. This plan is designed to help address your specific concerns and enhance your overall health and well-being, guiding you towards optimal health and function.
